Volunteer Opportunities

If you would like to volunteer, please call us at 650-726-9071. Please tell a friend if you see a need that they can help fill.

• Manage the inventory in the emergency food pantry. Four hours a week, afternoons work best.

• Support 2nd Harvest Food distribution on the third Thursday of the month from 2-5 PM. Or help the day after each 2nd Harvest to get the warehouse back in shape and ready to receive the next shipment. Third Friday of each month for two hours; you need to be reasonably fit.

• Help in translating documents, primarily in Spanish. Two-six hours a week, anytime.

• Spruce up the garden. Two hours a week, you pick the time.

• Assist in maintaining our building. Help to manage minor household repairs and upkeep. Two hours a week, time is negotiable.

• Provide office support filing and organization.

• Adopt a family or volunteer to shop or wrap gifts for the Christmas program.

• Help with building and managing our web site.
