Programs and Services
Coastside Hope serves those who are homeless, extremely poor and those who constitute the "working poor" on the San Mateo County Coastside. Primary recipients are needy families with children - about 85% of our clients. Approximately 70% speak Spanish as their primary language.
We serve all ages, from infants to seniors. Approximately 73% fall between the ages of 18 and 54. Sixty percent of our clients are women - most with families to feed and protect. Our on-going services include:
- Crisis intervention and case management
- Emergency and supplemental food
- Rental assistance and utility assistance
- Emergency motel vouchers
- Clothing and clothing vouchers
- Income tax preparation
- Christmas Adopt-a-Family program
- Immigration and citizenship services
- Translation and forms assistance
- Notary public services
- Emergency transportation services
